Things to Note (FINAL UPDATE!)

Hello friends and family!

As we countdown the days to see you later this month (ahh what!!!), here are some things we need from you, plus some helpful details. We can’t wait to see you!

Here’s what we need from you and why:

1. Photo IDs: Please send us a picture/scan of the photo ID you’ll be bringing to Kesroli. For international guests, a passport is ideal, and for guests attending from India, Aadhaar is preferred. We’ll only share this info with the hotel staff to make your check-in super smooth, so that you can jump into the festivities when you arrive while they handle the details.

2. Sangeet Performances: We’ll have some short dance/song performances from 7:30 to 8:30 pm on Sangeet night (Day 1). Let us know if you’d like to join in with a song/group dance/speech/skit/comedy show/other (within reason!). No pressure either way! Feel free to just watch and hype up the performers. Regardless, the dance floor will open to everyone at 8:30 pm!

3. Transportation between Delhi and Kesroli: We recommend pre-booking a private taxi to get from Delhi to Kesroli and back. We can provide contacts for reliable local cab companies, let us know. The estimated cost from Delhi to Kesroli for a private cab should be ~Rs. 6000 (USD 70).

4. Hair, makeup and saree draping: If you’d like assistance with your hair, makeup, and/or saree draping for Day 1, Day 2 or both, please let us know. We’ll have folks onsite to help. The costs are Rs 2,500 (USD 30) for hair and makeup, Rs 800 for hair only (USD 10) and Rs 500 (USD 6) for saree draping only, and are payable at the time of receiving the services.

Please get back to us with your responses on all these items (call/text/email) ASAP, but before November 10th :)

Some details to keep in mind:

Visas: If you’re not an Indian passport-holder, you do need e-visas. You can apply online and they should be issued within a week. Please make sure you start this process accordingly!

Rooming: a reminder from our previous update that due to the non-traditional layout of the hotel, you will room with friends in groups of 3 or more. Please feel free to ask us about this!

Footwear: Sangeet and Wedding are on concrete surfaces, while Mehendi and Haldi will be on grassy lawns. Please plan your footwear accordingly!

Room service and Housekeeping: Please feel free to call housekeeping if you need anything from them to make you more comfortable. There is no room service since all our meals are planned at the events.

Ironing: Clothing irons are available upon request from Housekeeping, i.e., they are not available in the rooms. Please keep this in mind during peak getting-ready times. You might consider bringing wrinkle-release spray!

Tipping: isn’t expected. If you’d still like to leave a tip, you can pass it on to us and we’ll make sure it’s settled with the venue after the festivities.

Pool: can and should be used, as long as you’re in proper swimwear. Please don’t jump in fully clothed or with Haldi stains, as fines apply!

Spa: The venue has a spa, with services available on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Day of travel: If you are coming from Delhi, we advise starting out around 8:30 am to account for the morning traffic between Delhi-Gurgaon, and join us on time at 12:00 noon :)

Checking-out: while you don’t have to pay for anything when checking out, please settle any extra charges, such as spa services, before you head out.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions.

Lots of hugs and excitement!
